Lansing, Ia. - Services for George Bakewell, who died Saturday at Maywood, Ill., were scheduled for Wednesday afternoon at the Federated Church with the Rev. C. H. Willemssen officiating and burial in Oak Hill Cemetery.

On June, 20, 1917, he married Edna Lenz. The couple lived on a farm in Wisconsin for five years but later moved to Maywood, Ill., where he was engaged in the real estate and brokerage business for the past twenty-three years.

Besides his wife, he is survived by a son, Vernon, a daughter, Marian, and a grandchild, all of Maywood, and three brothers, Ben, of Eagle Bend, Minn., Harry, of Kasson, Minn., and Arthur, of Long Beach, Calif.
