Services for Charles George Finzel will be at the St. Joseph’s Church at Paint Rock with the Rev. John J. Costello, pastor, officiating and burial in the church cemetery.

Finzel was born April 23, 1867, at Dubuque, a son of Mr. and Mrs. John Finzel. On Nov. 27, 1902, he married Charlotte Kirschberg at Kieler, Wis. The couple resided at Dubuque until 19 years ago. Since that time the couple farmed at Waukon Junction.

Besides his wife he is survived by three sons, Fred, at home, and Carl and Leo, at Dubuque; two daughters, Mrs. Marie McGovern, of Chicago and Mrs. Alice Arthofer, of Dubuque, and 20 grandchildren.
