Donald H. Peterson, 72, Lansing, died Thursday, Dec. 11, 1980, in Lutheran Hospital, La Crosse, Wis.

He was born Oct. 4, 1908, in Stillwater, Minn., to Alex and Ellen (Anderson) Peterson. He married Stacia Haerer on Nov. 2, 1939.

Prior ro his retirement, he was a roadmaster for The Milwaukee Road railroad.

Survivors are his wife; two brothers, Franklin of Stillwater,Minn., and Stanley of St. Paul, Minn.; and four sisters, Mrs. Evelyn Giebler and Mrs. Barney (Bernice) Brown, both of Stillwater, Mrs. Kenneth (Lorraine) Todd of St. Paul, and Mrs. Phillip (Nona) Meeson of St. Petersburg, Fla.

Services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. in Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Lansing. The Rev. Terry Johnson will officiate and burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Lansing.

Friends may call at the Burke-Thornburg Funeral Home, Lansing, today from 4 to 9 p.m., and at the church on Saturday from noon until the services.
