Postville Review - April 15, 1910 - The home of Bass Fultz, who died several weeks ago a short distance west of the Catholic church, is turning out to be a regular gold mine. The aged widow is an invalid and her mental faculties have been failing for some time. After Mr. Fultz's death currency to the amount of $3,000 or thereabouts and notes to the amount of about $4,000 were found in a box in his room.

Rev. R.L. Van Nice was appointed administrator. Last week a gentleman told the administrator that Mr. Fultz had been coming to him for some time previous to his death exchanging paper money for gold, and that there must be some concealed about the premises. A further search revealed an old trunk in the attic which contained $3,600 in gold, and it is believed the end is not yet. says the Waukon Journal.
