Andrew Geinzer, 89, of rural Lansing, died Friday, Jan. 21, 1983, in his home.

He was born May 12, 1893, near Caledonia, Minn., to John and Katherine (Freilinger) Geinzer. He was a farmer in the rural Lansing area.

Survivors are his wife, the former Frances K. Hearth; two sons, Francis of Solon, and Raymond of Hiawatha; nine grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Arlie Gordon of Lansing, and Mrs. Fred Gordon of Waukon; and one brother, George of Lansing.

He was preceded in death by one brother and one son.

Services will be Monday at 2 p.m. in the Burke-Thornburg Funeral Home, Lansing, with the Rev. Milton Kading officiating. Burial will be in the Mays Prairie Cemetery, rural Lansing.

Friends may call Sunday at the funeral home from 2 to 9 p.m.
