FARM MISHAP KILLS 10-YEAR-OLD
A 10-year-old girl was killed Saturday when she was struck by a wagon while working on her parents' farm.

Connie Hartley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Hartley, R.1, New Albin, was dead on arrival at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon.

The girl was unhooking a farm wagon from a silage chopper when the wagon struck her, according to an Allamakee County Sheriff's Department spokesman.

The farm accident was reported at 9:20 a.m.
