Mrs. Audie (Monte) Meyer, 52, New Albin, died Wednesday, May 4, 1983, in St. Francis Medical Center, La Crosse, Wis. Cause of death was not reported.

She was born on Aug. 5, 1930, in Butte, Mont., to Henry and Lydia (Pellock) LaMere. On July 27, 1949, she married Harold Dobbs and he died on Aug. 23, 1958. She later married Audie Meyer on May 11, 1961.

Survivors are her husband; four daughters, Mrs. Jeff (Susan) Engen of Spring Grove, Minn., Mrs. Wayne (Pam) Adamson of Claremont, Minn., Julie Dobbs of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and Kathy Meyer of Rochester, Minn.; two sons, David Dobbs of Wasioja, Minn., and Jeff Meyer at home; eight grandchildren; her mother of Prairie du Chien, Wis.; and three sisters, Mrs. Ed (Helen) Bouzek, Mrs. Eldon (Jeanette) Smethurst and Mrs. George (Lorraine) Walters, all of Prairie du Chien.

Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. in the New Albin Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Robert Rahe will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Prairie du Chien.

Friends may call at the chapel on Friday from 6 to 9 p.m.

The Burke-Thornburg Funeral Chapel, Lansing, is in charge of arrangements.
