Ivan J. Bjorge, 43, of Minneapolis and formerly of New Albin, died Monday, April 11, 1983, in Minneapolis of an apparent heart attack.

He was born Aug. 12, 1939, to Joel and Irma (Meyer) Bjorge.

He worked for Kurk Trucking Company of Eitzen, Minn., until 1974 when he moved to Minneapolis.

Survivors are his father of Cologne, Minn.; his mother, Irma Johnson of Sweden; two daughters, Karen Hauser and Mrs. Lawrence (Denise) Kruse, both of Eitzen; three half-brothers, Mike and Ronald Bjorge, whose addresses were not reported, and Lloyd Johnson of Milwaukee, Wis.; three half-sisters, Sue Oestrich and Barbara Birkholz, addresses not reported, and Mrs. Lyle (Ruth) Meyer of Dousman, Wis.; and two stepsisters, Mrs. Lester (Donna) Meyer of New Albin, and Mrs. Lois Woodward, address unknown.

A brother, two half-brothers and two half-sisters preceded him in death.

Services will be Wednesday at 9 p.m. in the New Albin Chapel with the Rev. Milton Kading officiating. Burial will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday in the Wheatland Church Cemetery, rural New Albin.

Friends may call at the New Albin Funeral Chapel on Wednesday after 4 p.m.

The Potter-Haugen Funeral Home, Caledonia, Minn., is in charge of arrangements.
