Waukon- Funeral services for George Leet, 79, who died Sunday following an illness of only a few hours, were held Tuesday at the Methodist church of Waukon.

A son of Mr. and Mrs. Lemuel Leet, he was born at Postville, Ia., April 10, 1869, and lived his entire life in Allamakee county. He married Viola Gordanjer Dec. 24, 1901.

Surviving are his wife; one son, Albert, Bemidji, Minn.; three daughters, Mrs. Aulzer Paulson, Clermont, Ia., Mrs. Byron Livingood and Mrs. William Waldron, Waukon; and six grandchildren. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
