Mrs. Earl (Emma) Reiser, 78, of New Albin, died Saturday, march 11, 1978, in a Lansing nursing home.

She was born March 4, 1900, in rural New Albin to August and Hedwig (Bettin) Weymiller. She was married April 28, 1951, to Earl H. Reiser.

She was employed as a bookkeeper by the New Albin Savings Bank for 40 years, retiring in 1975.

Survivors are her husband; a son, Robert Blomquist of La Crosse; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three brothers, Carl of Billings, Mont., Ed of Eitzen, Minn., and Emil of New Albin.

She was preceded in death by two sisters.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in St. Peter's United Church of Christ, New Albin, with the Rev. James Dahlgren officiating. Burial will be in the New Albin Cemetery.

Friends may call after 3 p.m. Tuesday at the New Albin Funeral Chapel, where the prayer service will be at 8 p.m. Tuesday.

Burke-Thornburg Funeral Home, Lansing, is in charge of arrangements.
