Herman H. Krzbietke, 89, Lansing, died Wednesday, Jan. 25, 1978, in a La Crosse, Wis., hospital.
He was born Aug. 11, 1888 in Houston county, Minn., to Karl and Frederika Krzbietke. On Oct. 13, 1909, he married Pearl Sandry at Mays Prairie.
He was a self-employed mason and bricklayer before his retirement.
Survivors are two daughter, Mrs. Ruth Dresselahus of Whitehall, Wis., and Mrs. Jack (Vivian) Sweeney of Lansing; three grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Freda Sommermeyer of Caledonia, Minn.; and a brother, Carl of New Albin.
He was preceded in death by his wife on June 23, 1963, and by two sisters, three brothers, a half-sister, and two half-brothers.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday in Grace United Methodist Church, New Albin, with the Rev. John J. Hall officiating. Burial will be in the New Albin City Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Burke-Thornburg Funeral Home, Lansing, after 2 p.m. today.
