Mrs. Elizabeth Batteen, 94, formerly of Lansing, died Sunday, Jan. 8, 1984, in Methodist Hospital, St. Louis Park, Minn.

She was the daughter of Thomas and Margaret (Bresnahan) Gallagher. She married Ed Batteen and he preceded her in death.

Survivors are one son, Ralph of St. Louis Park; one daughter, Rita McChance of Lemon Grove, Calif.; 11 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Services will be Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Lansing. The Rev. Francis Perry will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, New Albin.

Friends may call at the Burke-Thornburg Funeral Home, Lansing, today from 5 to 9 p.m., with a wake scripture service at 7:30 p.m.
