Waukon- Funeral services will be held Saturday at the Old East Paint Creek Church for Mrs. Christine Kolsrud, 84, with the Rev. E. O. Baalson, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the nearby cemetery.

Mrs. Kolsrud died Tuesday at her home at Elon, near here, following a brief illness.

She was the former Christine Eikdahl and was born Dec. 15, 1858, in Norway. She came to America at an early age and following her marriage to Solve S. Kolsrud, the home was made on a farm in this vicinity. Her husband died a number of years ago.

Surviving are four daughters: Mrs. Rena Swenson of Waukon, Mrs. John Rema and Mrs. Ove T. Roe, both living near Elon, and Anna at home; three sons, Carl of Waukon and Melvin and Elmer, both of this vicinity; and 16 grandchildren.

A son also preceded her in death.
