MRS. ROSE SADLER
WAUKON, Iowa – Mrs. Rose Sadler, 97, died in the Waukon hospital Friday, Dec. 12, after having suffered a fractured hip the previous day in a fall at the Good Samaritan Center.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Mt. Hope Church near Waukon. Martin's Funeral Home is in charge.

She was born Sept. 16, 1872, in Union City Township. For a time she was in charge of a maternity home in Preston, Minn. Her husband preceded her in death.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Alton Balman(sic) and Mrs. Earl Beardmore, both of Dorchester; a son Arthur of Rochester, Minn.; a foster son, Elmer Bailey of Colorado; a brother, Ed Wild and a sister, Mrs. Clara Smerud, both of New Albin.
