MRS. CHARLES BEARDMORE
NEW ALBIN, Iowa – Mrs. Charles (Martha) Beardmore, 63, of New Albin, died Wednesday morning, Aug. 7, in a La Crosse hospital.

She was born April 30, 1900, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Theis. She was married Sept. 8, 1926.

Survivors are her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Donald Curtis of Dubuque; a son, Curtis of New Albin; her mother; a brother, Elmer of Caledonia; three sisters, Mrs. Alvin Schoh of Caledonia, Mrs. Allen Hartley of New Albin and Mrs. Leonard Peterson of Madison; and two grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in St. John's United Church of Christ, Rev. E. De Buhr officiating, and burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
