Vincent James Waters, age 72, formerly of Postville, Iowa, died November 1, 2015 at Jennings Healthcare Center, North Vernon, Indiana. Vince requested that upon cremation his ashes be scattered in a special location which will be granted by close friends and family.

Vince was born February 25, 1943 in Postville, Iowa the son of Robert and Mabel (Ewing) Waters. Vince graduated from the Postville High School in 1961. He married Cheryl Hangartner and they later divorced. He had worked in sales and marketing.

He is survived by his two daughters, Joni (Marvin) Spencer of Waterloo, Iowa and Wendy (Jeff) Jacobson of New Prague, Minnesota; a son, Jason (Treva) Waters of Lisbon, Iowa; six grandchildren, Jadyn, Jaclyn, Hannah, Hagen, Luke, and Faith; two brothers, Steve (Barb)Waters of Knoxville, Iowa and Robert Waters of Racine, Wisconsin; three sisters Mary Ann (Charlie) Corcoran of Fort Dodge, Iowa, Margaret (Brian) Bengtson of Kissimmee, Florida, and Regina Waters of Waukon, Iowa; many nieces and nephews in addition to special family friends J.R., Melissa, Katie, John, Josiah, Caroline, Kathleen, and Hannah Ammon of Columbus, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his parents.
