LAVELLE, LA VELLE, MORIARTY, RUSSELL

On Thursday evening last, William LaVelle of this city passed away at Postville Hospital, aged 66 years, 2 months, and 6 days, his demise resulting from diabetes, with which he had been a sufferer for several years.

He was born near Postville Junction, where he grew to manhood, and in which locality he conducted a farm for many years.

He was an honest and upright man of kindly disposition, and many there were who esteemed him as a friend and will regret to learn of his passing.

He is survived by his wife, three sons, and three daughters; a sister, Mrs. Nellie Moriarty of Carrington, ND; and a brother, Edward LaVelle of this city.

The funeral was held from the Catholic church in this city Monday morning, Rev. Father Hogan officiating. Interment was made in the cemetery in Clermont.
