Ed Imhoff, 80, of Corpus Christi, TX, died Tuesday, April 18, 2000. He was born on February 23, 1920, in New Albin, to Ignatius and Julia (Sheehan) Imhoff. He joined the U.S. Navy in 1940 and served during World War II. He is a survivor of the Lexington when it sank in the Coral Sea. He retired from the U.S. Navy after 20 years of service. He is survived by a daughter, Betty (Larry) Bland of Corpus Christi; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a sister, Phyllis Heiderscheit of New Albin.
