William David "Bill" Zeimet, 43, of Lovelock, NV, and formerly of Lansing, IA, died accidentally while hunting, Tuesday, Nov. 23, 1999, in the nearby mountains.
Bill was born May 1, 1956, in La Crosse, WI. He was baptized and confirmed at the I.C. Church in Lansing. He attended Kee High School and graduated in Toledo from Hoover High.
As a carpenter, he was self-employed in Lovelock since 1984. Bill's talents and hobbies included drawing, painting pictures fir his many friends, along with painting wall murals throughout Iowa, Nevada, and California.
Survivors include his parents, Clem and Darlene Zeimet, Lansing; wife, Geneva of Lovelock; one daughter, Crystal Zeimet of Wisconsin; two sisters, Carlyn (Ed) Lesch of Davenport, IA; and Judy (Jon) Donato of San Pedro, CA; two brothers, Michael Zeimet of Niceville, FL, and presently employed in Saudi Arabia; and Stuart (Lois) Zeimet of Vacaville, CA; also many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Bill was preceded in death by his brother, Patrick, and a sister, Joan (Halford) Zeimet.
Burial services were held in Lovelock, with a memorial Mass on Monday, Dec. 6, at 5 p.m. at the Immaculate Conception Church in Lansing.
