Ethel H. Stoltz, 88, of Caledonia, MN, died suddenly Sunday, Dec. 19, 1999, at Franciscan Skemp Medical Center, La Crosse, WI. She was born March 10, 1911, in New Albin, IA, to Albert and Mary (Graber) Arndt. She married Sylvester Stoltz Sept. 13, 1927, at St. peter's Catholic Church, Caledonia. He preceded her in death Nov. 6, 1991.

She is survived by two daughters, Palma Utke and Henrietta (Dean) Foltz, both of Caledonia; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, three sisters, and two brothers.

Mass of Resurrection will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 23, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Caledonia. Fr. Donald Schmidt will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Caledonia. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the McCormick Funeral Home, Caledonia, where a rosary will be said at 5:30 p.m. and there will be a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Friends may also call one hour prior to services at the church Thursday.
