On Jan. 11, 2000, our dad passed away, taking with him that smile he was known so well for.

He touched many lives, whether it be as a father, grandfather, brother, uncle, friend, physician, and most recently, his doctors, nurses and chaplains at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center. His last words to you would be what they were to me, "I thank you very much," from Doc with love.

He is survived by four daughters, Cyndi Love of Denver, Colo.; Beecher (Randy) Robertson and their son, Jason of De Soto, Wis.; Pam Love of La Crosse, Wis. and her children, Kriss (Meridith) Richert of Denver Colo., and Tiffanie Regan and her fiance, Andrew Peters of St. Charles, Minn.; Lisa (Ben) Wagner and their children, Mandi, Travis and Ashley of Lansing, Iowa; brother, Richard Love and family of Whitney, Texas; sister, Nancy (Herman) Rhodes and family of Dallas, Texas; and sister-in-law, Anne Love of Harrison, Maine. he was a man who was truly loved.

A memorial mass will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 14, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Lansing, with Fr. Herbert Tegeler officiating. Friends may call at a memorial service Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Thornburg-Hanson Funeral Home in Lansing.
