IMHOFF, SHEEHAN, MICHEY, KERSTEN, HEIDERSCHEIT, MARK

Vincent W. Imhoff, 80, of Des Moines, died Monday, Jan. 20, 1997, at Winterset Care Center of complications from Alzheimer's Disease.

He was born in New Albin and lived in Cedar Falls before moving to Des Moines 30 years ago. He was retired from the U.S. Postal Service and was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce; three sons, Terry of Cedar Falls, and Jerry and Jay, both of Des Moines; three daughters, Linda Michey of Cedar Falls, Penn Kersten of Eastham, Mass., and Judith Imhoff of Denver, Colo.; two sisters, Phyllis Heiderscheit of New Albin, and Ruth Mark of Sparta, Wis.; a brother, Edmund of Corpus Christi, Texas; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, Jan. 22, at Holy trinity Catholic Church. Burial was in Glendale Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Tom Lang, Bill Kness, Scott Anderson, David Gibson, and Steve and Jeff Imhoff. Honorary pallbearer was a lifelong friend, Vic Eicheid of Jackson Heights, N.Y.
