Elizabeth R. Lamb, 93, of La Crosse, WI, died on Thursday, May 5, 2005, at the Franciscan Skemp Healthcare Medical Center. A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 13th, at 1:00 p.m. t the Schumacher-Kish Funeral Home of La Crosse. Rev. Lawrence B. Berger will officiate. Burial will follow in the Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from noon until 1:00 p.m.

She was born in rural New Albin on August 22, 1911, to Theodore and Catherine (Boltz) Rouster. She married Eugene Lamb in 1945.

After graduating from New Albin High School, Elizabeth attended teacher's college at Cedar Falls, IA, and taught school in rural New Albin, and also Norwalk, WI. She later attended WWTC, where she earned a degree in nursing, and worked until her retirement at Lutheran Hospital.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Edward and Eugene Jr.; her parents; seven brothers and two sisters.

She is survived by her son, Howard (Rebecca) Lamb of La Crosse, and many nieces and nephews.
