Ruth Mary Mark, 85, Sparta, WI, formerly of New Albin, died Saturday, June 13, 1998, at Morrow Home in Sparta.

She was born July 5, 1912, in Caledonia, MN, to Ignatius and Julia (Sheehan) Imhoff. She was raised in the Caledonia and New Albin area.

She married Wilbur T. Mark of March 12, 1941, in Prairie du Chien, WI.

Survivors include a daughter, Kathy (Joe) Frazier of Camp Douglas, WI; two grandchildren; one great-grandson; a sister, Phyllis (Leonard) Heiderscheit of New Albin; and a brother, Edmund Imhoff of Corpus Christi, TX.

She was preceded in death by her husband; five brothers, Vincent, Robert, Lawrence, James and Francis Earl; and a sister, Katherine Rose.

Services were held on Tuesday, June 16, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in New Albin with Father Frank Charipar officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery. Casket bearers were Greg Imhoff, Jake Imhoff, Jeff Imhoff, Tom Berestoff, Rick Heiderscheit and Chris Heiderscheit.
