Adaline Virginia Minert was born in Vermillion county, Indiana, September 5th, 1840. At the age of nine years she came with her parents to Iowa.

She was married to Henry T. Bollman November 10th, 1859. Of their nine children six are living.

Mr. Bollman died August 18th, 1891, and she passed quickly away July 9th, 1909, aged 68 years, 10 months and 4 days.

She was a member of the Methodist church having joined the church at Frankville when only 13 years of age. A good and faithful Christian woman has gone to her reward. Funeral services were held at the family residence, interment taking place in the Minert cemetery. July 11th, 1909, Rev. R.L. Van Nice officiating.
