Mr. Michael Garin of this township died last Sunday evening of asthma & was buried in the cemetery of the Paint Rock church, on the 26th. Mr. Garin was one of the pioneers of Taylor & a peaceable & respected citizen. His age was 65 years.

Michael Garin, Sr. of Taytor township died Monday after a two weeks illness of heart disease. He was aged about 66 years. Funeral today. Although not altogether unexpected, the old gentleman's death was somewhat sudden & surprising. He was so much improved Saturday that his son Pat H. who was called her from Great Falls, Montana by his sickness returned home that day.
