Plans are being made for the funeral of Mrs. William Lenz, 73, who died in a LaCrosse hospital Friday, August 31, 1951, following an illness of several months.

As Matilda Bauman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Bauman, she was born in Lansing township in May 1878. She was educated in the school at Church and about 45 years ago married William Lenz. The family lived at Church for some years, then moved to Lansing.

She is survived by her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Alice Underwood and Evelyn; and one son, Curtis, all of Lansing; four grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. John Marti and Ada Bauman of Lansing; and three brothers, Freemont of Lansing, the Rev. G.B. Bauman of Council Bluffs and the Rev. B.R. Bauman, Bloomington, Wis.
