Funeral services for Mrs. Clara Bauman of LaCrosse, Wis., who passed away in a LaCrosse, Wis. Hospital, September 29, 1970, were held from Martin Bros. Funeral Home on Saturday afternoon at 1:00 p.m., with interment in Lansing Ridge Cemetery.

She was born in Center township on October 14, 1889, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Lenz. She was married on January 15, 1913 to Fremond Bauman and they farmed for many years near Church. They more recently moved to LaCrosse to make their home.

Survivors are two daughters, Dorothy, Mrs. David Opfer, LaCrosse, and Bernice, Mrs. Claude Schafer, rural Lansing; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; three brothers: Harry Lenz, New Albin; Theodore Lenz, Colby, Wis.; Edward Lenz, Eagle Bend, Minn; and one sister, Mrs. Edna Hanson, Maywood, Ill. Rev. William Tjaden officiated at the service.
