A most deplorable occurrence took place in Hanover township Tuesday afternoon of last week, which cast a wave of gloom over that entire community, relates the Waukon Journal. John Bresnahan, who had been ill for some time, and lately because mentally unbalanced, eluded the watchfulness of his family and was found later hanging in the barn with life extinct. Deceased was born in Hanover township July 5, 1860, and had lived there all his life.
