Arno Frederick Carl Meyer was born at Postville on Nov. 3, 1896, and died on Tuesday morning of this week. Last week while shaving a pimple was cut on his cheek and blood poisoning developed and he was unable to withstand the ravages of the infection.

Arno was the son of Mrs. W. C. Meyer and since his father's death some years ago took the management of the home farm for his mother. He was an industrious boy and one whom the whole community admired and all regret his untimely passing. Arno was baptized and was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran church and a member of the Luther League.

The funeral was held from the Lutheran church yesterday, Rev. Schmidt officiating. The church was prettily decorated with flowers and all turned out to pay their respect to one who had been called so early in life.
