Postville Review, Fri., 6 Jan. 1905.

Word was received Sunday of the death of James Wampler at his home in St. Paul. He passed away during the closing moments of the old year having succumbed to an attack of pneumonia. His mother had been summoned to his bedside a few days previous and his brother Lawrence left via Postville Saturday evening on receipt of news of his critical condition. Deceased was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Wampler of this city and was 34 years of age. He was in the government mail service for a time but of late was street conductor at St. Paul. He was married to Miss Anna Mickelson, a Postville young lady, who survives him. The sympathy of all attend the sorrowing family in their bereavement. The remains reached here Monday and the funeral took place yesterday afternoon at the home of the deceased's parents, Rev. VanNice conducting the services.-Waukon Democrat.

Mrs M. Mickelson and daughters, Misses Mary and Clara, and Carl Holter of Postville, attended the services at Waukon Tuesday.
