Mrs. Elizabeth Plagge, 82, of Lansing died on Friday, July 13, at St. Francis Hospital in La Crosse, Wisconsin.

She was born on August 11, 1896, in Lansing to John and Mary Weipert Strub. She married Frank H. Plagge on April 27, 1915 in Lansing. He preceded her in death in February of 1967. A son, Norbert, preceded her in death in 1975.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Kern (Helen) Kelleher of Lansing and Mrs. George (Lou Ann) Shipman of Buena Park, California; 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; four brothers, Ray, Urban and Leo, all of Lansing, and George of Waukon; and two sisters, Mrs. Catherine Kelleher and Mrs. William Troendle Sr., both of Lansing.

Funeral services were held on Monday, July 16, at 11 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church in Lansing. Rev. Carl Manternach officiated and burial was in Gethsemane Cemetery.

The Burke-Thornburg Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers were Kenneth and James Strub, Donald Kelleher, Robert Peters, Richard Delaney and William Troendle, Jr.
