John E. Yeoman, 68, of 1025 Oak Ave. S., died Monday, June 4, in a La Crosse hospital.
He was born July 14, 1910, in New Albin, Iowa, to John and Rachel (Bennett) Yeoman.
Yeoman was a World War II veteran and was employed by Electric Auto-Lite Co. for 22 years. He then worked at Fort McCoy until his retirement.
Survivors are his wife, the former Dorothy Bruhnke Bock; one daughter, Mrs. Judith Woodliff of Onalaska; one grandson; and three sisters, Mrs. Lida Brzowsky, Mrs. Vada Deyo and Mrs. Alma McDermott, all of La Crosse.
Two sisters and two brothers preceded him in death.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in First Evangelical Lutheran Church, La Crosse, with the Rev. Fritz Miller officiating.Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, La Crosse.
Friends may call at the Schumacher Funeral Home, La Crosse on Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m., and at the church on Thursday from 12:30 p.m. until the services.
