Helen M. (Schultz) Beavers

Helen M. (Schultz) Beavers, 78, of Indianapolis, died Monday, July 17. Shirley Brothers Irving Hill Chapel was in charge of the arrangements.

A registered nurse, she worked for 9 years until 1949. She served in the Navy Nurse Corps during World War II. She was a graduate of the University of Iowa School of Nursing.

Services were held July 20 at 10 a.m. Thursday in Irvington Presbyterian Church, of which she was a member, elder and deacon.

Surviving is her husband, Dr. Thomas H. Beavers, her son Thomas A. Beavers, her daughter Ann Beavers Cochran, her sister, Mrs. Robert (Gerene) Martindale of Postville and 3 grandchildren.
