Pioneer Farmer Dies Near Maud
Lansing, Iowa, Aug 28 - (Special) Ole Knutson, a well-known farmer of Maud, died early Tuesday morning at his home, after a six weeks' illness. Mr. Knutson was a pioneer of this section. He was 86 years old, having been born in Hallingdal, Norway, Sept. 6, 1828. He came to America in 1851. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. C.J.M. Gronlid, pastor of the West Paint Creek church.
