Henry Krogman Passes At Farm Home Monday.

Henry Krogman of Post township passed away Monday, aged 75 years and 9 months, and funeral services will be held this (Thursday) afternoon at St. Paul's Lutheran church in this city, with the Rev. F. R. Ludwig officiating. Interment is to be made in Postville cemetery.

Mr. Krogman was born in Germany, June 3, 1863, coming to the United States with his brothers and sisters in his youth.

In 1893 he was married to Miss Lena Bechtold to which union two children were born, a daughter, Emma, and a son, William, who together with the widow survive.

He is also survived by his sisters, Mrs. Fred Blumhagen of Castalia and Mrs. Minnie Muchow of Fergus Falls, Minn., as well as other relatives and friends.

He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran church. Before moving to their Cherry Valley farm, where the family has lived for 44 years, Mr. Krogman operated the Christ Poesch farm for two years in Grand Meadow township.
