--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------.

Mrs. Henry Heins, 75, Passes Away Monday.

Mrs. Wilhelmina Sophia Dorothea Heins, nee Martens, was born in Vorwerks, Pommern, Germany, December 7, 1858, and died at her home in this city on Monday morning, November 20, 1933, aged within a few weeks of 75 years, her demise following a very brief illness.

She came to America with relatives in 1882, coming directly to Postville, where on May 14, 1883, she was united in marriage to Henry Heins. They first lived on a farm east of Postville, which remained their home until 1894, when they purchased and moved to a farm south of Luana, where they continued to live until the death of the husband and father January 20, 1913.

Following the death of her husband, Mrs. Heins and her daughter Anna located in Monona, where they resided for three years, then moved back to the old home farm for a period of five years. In 1927 she erected and occupied a fine home in Postville which has since remained the family home.

She was preceded in death by her husband and three infant children. There remain to mourn her loss seven children, Rudolph and Mrs. Ella Bittner of Guttenberg, Mrs. Anna Senholz of Postville; William, Louis, Henry and Edward, of Near Luana; and three brothers, Theodore Martens of Cresco, John and Frederick in Germany, and 24 grandchildren, besides many other relatives and a host of friends.

The above is in brief the life story of a woman known to all as a good neighbor and friend, a fond wife and devoted mother, who in the fullness of years has been called to her reward, and the sympathy of all is extended to those bereft.

The funeral will be held at 1:30 this afternoon from St. Paul's Lutheran church in this city, conducted by Dr. R. B. Garten. Interment will be made in the Eno cemetery.
