Mrs. Paul Larson Died Sept. 19

The death of Mrs. Paul Larson occured Thursday, Sept. 19, at the Veterans Memorial hospital. She had been in ill health for a long time. Hannah Randina Larson, whose maiden name was Kolsrud, was born Feb. 05, 1868, in Paint Creek township. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sander Kolsrud and had lived in Allamakee county all her life. She had lived in Waukon since 1935.

She was educated in the local schools and was married Dec. 23, 1895, to Paul Lareon. Her husband preceded her in death.

She is survived by the following children, Mabel, Mrs. Harvey Stock; Stella, Mrs. Albert Hanson; Herbert Larson; Mrs. Esther Pederson, Des Moines; Theodore Larson and Pearl, Mrs Ray Folz of Waterloo. There are 18 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren. Mrs. Larson was a member of the old East paint Creek church but on account of repairing the church her funeral was held from the Old West Paint Creek church Saturday, Sept. 21. The services were conducted by the Rev. E. O. Baalson at 1:30 from Martin Funeral home and 2 p.m. at the Old West Paint Creek church. Donald, Carlton, and Robert Larson, Robert Stock, Warren and Jack Pederson were the pallbearers.

Mrs. Larson is also preceded in death by a daughter Bella, Mrs. Henry Kosbau, a son Victor, and a daughter Ida who died in infancy.
