Monona - David H. Cowell, 98, formerly of Monona, died Friday, Sept. 14, 2001, in the Good Samaritan Center, Waukon, following a short illness. Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday, Garden City United Methodist Church. Burial: Monona City Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Monday at Schultz Funeral Home, Monona, where there will be a Masonic serivce at 7 p.m. Friends may also call one hour prior to services Tuesday at the church. Survivors include his wife, Wilma of Postville; a son, George of Storm Lake; and a daughter, Marcella Wendel of Postville.
