Graveside services and burial for Marcella L. Gundacker, age 87, of LaCrosse, Wisconsin were held August 11 in Oakland Cemetery in Waukon, Iowa. Rev. Lynn Groe officiated. Jandt-Fredrickson Funeral Home (Woodruff Chapel) of LaCrosse was in charge of arrangements.

Marcella L., daughter of Jesse and Leila (Johnson) Rush, was born March 22, 1924 in Waukon, Iowa. She married John H. Gundacker in Waukon on June 22, 1947.

Marcella L. Gundacker passed away Saturday, August 6, 2011 at Bethany St. Joseph Care Center in LaCrosse, Wisconsin where she had been a resident for quite a few years. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John who died January 8, 1978, her sister, Hazel Knight and a special friend of Marcella, George Jordan.

Marcella is survived by her son Don (Linda) Gundacker of North Bend, Wisconsin; 3 grandchildren, Ben Gundacker of Onalaska, Wisconsin, Angela (Ben) Pilla of Ridgeway, Wisconsin, and Jesse Gundacker of North Bend, Wisconsin; a great-granddaughter, Hailey Pilla and nieces and nephews.
