Funeral services for Margaret Crowe, age 75, of rural Lansing, Iowa were held Saturday, March 31 at 11 a.m. in Wexford Immaculate Conception Church, rural Lansing, Iowa with Father Duane Raftis officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Burke-Thornburg Funeral home was in charge of the arrangements. Casket bearers were Pat O'Neil, Tom O'Neil, Francis Wagner, Paul Gavin, Dale Steiber, and Joe Guider.

Margaret, daughter of Anthony and Agnes (Waldron) Ferring, was born June 7, 1914 in Lansing, Iowa. She married Raymond Crowe in Lansing, Iowa on November 26, 1935. They farmed near Wexford, Iowa. The last three years she lived with her niece in Dubuque, Iowa.

Margaret died Wednesday, March 28, 1990 in Mercy Health Center in Dubuque, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her husband, who died June 17, 1987; 2 sisters, Mae and Agnes and 3 brothers, Ray Ferring, Tony Ferring, and Frank Ferring.

She is survived by 3 sisters, Kathleen Olds of Dubuque, Iowa, Mary Reppe of Lansing, Iowa and Viola Manning of Waterloo, Iowa; a brother Joseph Ferring of Lansing, Iowa, and many nieces and nephews.
