Minnie E. Snitker

WAUKON, Iowa -- Minnie E. Snitker, 81, of Waukon died Wednesday at the Good Samaritan Center in Waukon.

Her husband, Leonard, died in 1968

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Salem United Church of Christ, rural Waukon, with burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call Thursday at the Martin Funeral Home in Waukon.

Surviving are seven sons, Earl of Victorville, Calif., Lloyd of Postville, Iowa, and Donald, Leonard, Jr., David, DuWayne and Dennis, all of Waukon; two daughters, Mrs. Wayne (LaVonne) Brandt of Postville and Jane Snitker of Waukon; 35 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren; two brothers, Grant and David Flage, and a sister, Mrs. Dorothy Nagel, all of Waukon.

Submitter note: Minnie's husband was the son of Daniel Frederick and Clara Anna Wilhelmina (Grotegut) Snitker. Minnie's parents were David Flage, Sr. and Sophie Emma Hager. Estella Wilhelmina "Minnie" (Flage) Snitker died April 20, 1983. Leonard died September 24, 1968.
