Frank W. Hangartner

Frank W. Hangartner was born June 16, 1912 to Frank and Emma Miller Hangartner at Postville, IA. He died July 12, 1986 in Whittier, CA.

He was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Postville.

He was a buttermaker in Clermont and Clear Lake before moving to California in the early 1940s. He was in the carpet and floor covering business with his brother John in Los Angeles.

He was married to Irene McClain.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Emma Hangartner, his step-mother, Ella Hangartner, 3 brothers, Harold, John and Robert Hangartner and one sister, Gretchen Harris.

He is survived by his wife, Irene and a sister Margaret Fancher of Goleta, CA.

Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery in Whittier, CA.
