Funeral services were held Wednesday December 30 at 11 a.m. at Howden-Kennedy Funeral Home in West Seattle, Washington for Mrs. Ralph (Johanna) McKee, age 64. The Rev. Ron Marshall officiated. Burial was in Washington Memorial Park.

Johanna was born August 15, 1923 to Walter and Selma (Ashbacher) Ebner in rural Lansing, Iowa. She attended rural grade school in French Creek Township. She graduated from Waukon High School. She taught rural school in the Mays Prairie area. On January 9, 1943 she married former Lansing resident Ralph L. McKee in Seattle, Washington where Ralph was serving in the Navy. They lived all their married life in Seattle. She was employed as a secretary for the Washington State Department of Health Services until she retired.

She was preceded in death by by her father and her husband, Ralph who died September 27, 1987.

Surviving are a son Dennis McKee of Seattle, Washington, a granddaughter Ashley Shea, also of Seattle; her mother Selma Ebner of Lansing, Iowa, a brother Lewis Ebner of Lansing, Iowa and a sister, Leotia Flage of Waukon, Iowa.
