Memorial services were held Wednesday, October 21 for Lucille E. (Hubbard) Hastings, age 76, of Woodburn, Oregon who died Monday, October 19, 1987. The 1:30 p.m. services were held at the United Methodist Church with arrangements by The Gateway Little Chapel of the Chimes in Portland, Oregon.

Lucille was born in Carlisle, Arkansas. She married Clifford Hastings. They lived in Waukon, Iowa where he was the assistant manager of the Gamble Store before they moved to Portland in 1943. She was a member of the United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Clifford; 3 sons, Robert Hastings of Nigeria, Africa, Kenneth Hastings of Walnut Creek, California, and Gary Hastings of Redwood City, California; 2 brothers, Dale Hubbard of Sarasota, Florida and Herbert Hubbard of Thonotosassa, Florida and nine grandchildren.

Kartha Hastings of Waukon, Iowa is the sister-in-law of the Hastings.
