Albert W. Ehlers, age 85, Caledonia, Minnesota, died Friday, January 31, 1986 at the Caledonia Health Care Center. Services were held Monday February 3 at 11 a.m. in St. Luke's United Church of Christ, Eitzen, Minnesota. The Rev. Lloyd Fried officiated. burial was in the church cemetery. Haugen-Roble Funeral Home of Caledonia, Minnesota was in charge of arrangements.

Albert was born April 4, 1900 in Allamakee County, Iowa to Herman and Katherine (Meyer) Ehlers. He married Ella Wiemerslage on December 10, 1924 in Eitzen, Minnesota. She died November 9, 1977. He was a farmer in the New Albin and Eitzen areas. He moved to Caledonia, Minnesota when he retired from farming. He was a member of St. Luke's United Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by 4 sisters, and 2 brothers.

Survivors are a daughter, Marcella Meyer of Spring Grove, Minnesota; 3 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
