Contributor: Connie Ellis (Not related)Albert Leet, age 78, died at his home in Prescott Valley, Arizona, Wednesday December 3, 1986. Services were held Saturday, December 6 at 10 a.m. at Hampton Funeral Home in Prescott with the Rev. Lloyd Ewart officiating. Burial was in the Redwoods Memorial Gardens with Hampton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Casket bearers were six member brothers of Legion of Moose, Prescott Lodge.
Albert was born October 6, 1908 in Postville, Iowa to George and Viola (Gordanier) Leet. He attended public school and graduated from Waukon High School in 1927. He attended Bemidji State College in Minnesota. On June 1, 1937 he married Dorothy Palmer in Waukon, Iowa. He was a farmer and carpenter, a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #1452, a life member of the Legion of Moose #131, Benevolent Protective Order of Elks Lodge #1052 and the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, all of Bemidji.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Mildred Leet.
Survivors include his wife, three sisters, Ethel Paulson of Clermont, Iowa and Lulu Livingood and Marjorie Waldron, both of Waukon, Iowa, and 27 nieces and nephews.
