John E. "Jack" Bush, a former Postville, Iowa resident, died December 9, 1988 at LaHabra, California. He had been ill since August. There were no funeral services. He was cremated. Jack was born April 2, 1920 at Postville, Iowa, son of Ace and Irene C. (Sheehy). He taught music at Maynard, Northwood and Coon Rapids, Iowa before moving to California. He was a baseball enthusiast and umpired many games. He graduated from the University of Iowa and received his masters degree from the University of Iowa. He is survived by his wife, the former Lucille Lubke, a son John Bush, and a daughter Maureen. His wife, Lucille was a teacher in the Oelwein, Iowa schools.
