Funeral services for Cecelia M. Mahoney, 94, of Ennoble Manor Care Center in Dubuque, Iowa were held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 13 at St. Patrick's Church in Dubuque, Iowa. Burial was in the Mount Calvary Cemetery in Dubuque. Siegert-Didesch Colonia Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Cecelia died Monday July 10, 1989 at Mercy Health Center St. Joseph's Unit in Dubuque. She was born November 11, 1894 in Dorchester, Allamakee County, Iowa to John and Katherine (McLaughlin) Waters. On February 15, 1915 she married Thomas F. Mahoney in Dorchester, Iowa. He died October 3, 1978.

Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Russ (Fannie) Evans, Mrs. Lorin (Kay) Hoppmann, and Mrs. Leo (Laverne) Winter, all of Dubuque, and Mrs. Roy (Donna) Bauer of San Antonio,Texas; nine grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren,23 great-great grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Venita Welch, of LaCrosse, Wisconsin.
