Clement Francis Hammell, 74, of Lansing, died Sun., Sept. 7, 1997 at Good Samaritan Center, Waukon.
He was born Nov. 14, 1922 in French Creek township to Fred and Matilda (Hoffman) Hammell.
He is survived by two brothers, Vincent of Lansing and Cletus of Strawberry Point, Iowa; and two sisters, Dorothy DeWulf of Davenport and Helen Quillin of Eau Claire, Wis.
He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Sept. 10 at Immaculate Conception Church in Lansing with Fr. Herbert Tegeler officiating. Interment was in Gethsemane Cemetery.
Casket bearers were David Hammell, Walter Hammell, Leon Moeller. Paul Hammell, Tony Hammell and Albert Myrick.
Burke-Thornburg Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
